For the number of awards and accolades the Kia Optima received in 2011, it only seems natural to earn such an honor. Consumers and Critics alike were not the only ones to notice the Optima's success, either. Other automakers became envious and frustrated as 2011 kept trucking along. At the very end of 2011, they had a spark of hope that the Kia Optima would not retain the belt two-years running. This spark, however, didn't last long. Everybody at Central Kia pf Plano is proud to announce that the the new 2012 Kia Optima continues to rake in the awards, receiving a fresh handful of new accolades, including a spot on the Boston Globe's "Top Ten Drives for 2012 List".
Its' true, after undergoing an in-depth review by the editors at the Boston Globe, the new 2012 Kia Optima was determined to be more worthwhile than a plethora of other cars and trucks available on the market today. To say they were impressed with the Optima's design and performance is an understatement, after we saw this quote: "a first-class, five-passenger, midsize sedan."1 The editors raved about the luxuriously spacious interior and available heated steering wheel. If anybody thought the new Kia Optima was going to lose a little bit of momentum in 2012, they were flat out wrong!
In the past Kia cars were not known for their safety and reliability. Over the past few years, Kia has been working on improving their image by creating stronger, more durable, and safer vehicles. And with a perfect five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), they have done just that!
